Press Release

Semaphore Products will be on exhibit at the Singapore International Water Week (SIWW) trade expo

NASHUA, NEW HAMPSHIRE – April 14, 2008 – Semaphore, a CSE Global company, announces that its SCADA System products will be on exhibit at the Singapore International Water Week trade expo.  This event will be held at the Singapore Convention Centre, June 24 – 26, 2008.  Semaphore’s exhibit, at stand N14, will feature the Kingfisher and T-BOX SCADA system product lines as well as Semaphore connectivity products.

The Kingfisher RTU line provides many advanced features for SCADA system solutions, including redundant configurations, intelligent I/O, and open programming that is compliant with IEC 61131-3. Kingfisher is also the first RTU product line that is compliant with IEC 61499, the distributed processing and interoperability extension to IEC 61131-3.  Kingfisher systems are well suited to large, demanding measurement and control applications that employ central stations.

T-BOX is the first, IP-based telemetry solution that enables the complete integration of SCADA, control, and communications functionality in one rugged package.  It leverages easy-to-use Web technologies and inexpensive public networks for decentralized, monitoring and control systems.  T-BOX products offer up to 50% less total installed cost per point versus traditional SCADA/PLC systems and permit greater organizational access to data through automated reporting and browser software.

Semaphore’s connectivity products extend Ethernet networks over existing infrastructure and provide wireless, remote I.O.  Using robust designs, these products operate over wide temperature ranges and in noisy RFI environments, which are typical of industrial and remote site installations. They further provide enhanced functionality while simplifying configuration, installation and start-up.

Semaphore’s connectivity and RTU products are ideal for a broad range of communications, monitoring and control applications. In addition to the water and wastewater industries, Semaphore products support applications in broadcast and telecom, infrastructure management, oil & gas, power, and transportation.  For more information about Semaphore solutions, visit www.cse-semaphore.com or contact Semaphore at 15B Charron Avenue, Nashua, NH 03063, 603-577-3803.

The Water Expo, one of the highlights of SIWW, is a trade show that focuses on innovations, products and services, as well as best practices, successful case studies and practical applications of water technologies. Some 150 companies from 18 countries snapped up the entire space at the Water Expo within months and the organizers have increased the floor space by 30 per cent to cope with the overwhelming demand. The 4,000-square-meter exhibition hall will feature national pavilions from China, Germany, Malaysia, the Netherlands, Japan, Israel and Singapore. Companies and organizations from North America, Europe, the Middle East and the Asia-Pacific region have also signed up for several booths.  For more information, visit www.siww.com.sg.
